Dr. Shamsul Alam is a seasoned biometrics and statistical leader with more than 25 years of experience across Lantheus, GE Healthcare, Abbott/AbbVie, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson. He holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Missouri–Columbia, USA and a M.Sc. in Statistics from the University of Calgary, Canada. He has built and led global teams in Biostatistics, Programming, Data Management, and Clinical Operations, driving successful clinical development strategies and securing 12+ regulatory approvals across FDA, EMEA, CFDA, and PMDA. Dr. Alam is highly experienced in innovative and adaptive trial design, Bayesian methodologies, AI/ML applications, and regulatory strategy spanning Oncology, Immunology, CNS, Cardiology, and Infectious Diseases. Known for his collaborative leadership, he has guided major programs including Humira and multiple diagnostic and therapeutic submissions. He continues to advance biometrics excellence, operational innovation, cross-functional collaboration, and high-impact regulatory outcomes in his role.
